Mgr. Lukáš Spíchal, Ph.D. Lukáš Spíchal graduated in biology from the Faculty of Science, Palacký University in Olomouc in 2005. From 2002 to 2012 he worked at the Institute for Biology, Applied Genetics, Free University in Berlin. He works at the Center of the Haná Region for Biotechnological and Agricultural Research, where he focuses primarily on plant hormone biology and automated plant phenotyping. He is the author of more than 70 publications (71 entries on Web of Science; 1578 citations, h-index 21), more than 25 patents granted. He is a member of CEN / TC 455 “Plant Biostimulants” of the European Standardization Committee (CEN).

Since 2011 he has been dedicated to the development of AgroBioChem, a successful spin-off in cooperation with Palacký University in Olomouc.

AgroBioChem, s.r.o. is a spin-off company, established in 2011, collaborating with the Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic. The main objective of AgroBioChem is enhanced crop performance and improved systems of crop protection and nutrition through research, development and commercialization of new targeted substances and technologies in the fields of plant growth regulation, biotechnology and agriculture.
